In Side Out
IT has come
In my side
It has come Out
A great rose thorn in-clawed
From my side
Entering
Beneath the rib cage
Exiting
Above the hip bone
Out shoot green stemmed
To budding blood enfolded
Erectile tissue sponged
Hemoglobin flooded petals
Vermillion from
In Side
Out
Heavy the stemming strains
In
Beneath rib cage
Side
Above hip bone
Out
Weighing on thorn tearing grip
Bending the bud
Blood eye opening
Yellow pupil stamens stand
Centering a jaundice gaze
The blood eye rose
In Side
Out
Depleting
Opening to the fall
Unlashed ever curling petals
Dark soaked to consequence
Open to the fall
Spiral fluttering
Each petal splashing at ground fall
Spattering my shins crimson iron
Every petal drop pooling
At my feet
Dripping
In Side
Out
