As Ones Own Soul

As Ones Own Soul

It came to be that at the meeting of the Masters
The Son first laid eyes on Him.
Passing electric between
The Son’s very soul became bound with His soul –
An ardent male affection;
And The Son began to love His soul as his own.

He, having reached a profitable agreement with The Father,
So that from that day forward He would be as The Fathers own son.
Then the Father took Him
On that day and he did not allow
Him to return to His father’s house
Knowing not his own Sons heart so
Glad for the masculine camaraderie

Thus in domestic privacy beneath the same roof,
The Son proceeded to conclude secretly a covenant,
Tightly binding him to Him – slicing the forearm
To the flow of blood intermingled as the force of Blood Oath drank.
Blood Brothers because of his loving Him as his own soul.
Furthermore The Son stripped himself of the leather jacket that was on him,
So that he gave it to Him along with all of his garments,
Including his knife, his gun and belt.

Dressed thus The Father looking on, saw his Son.
Then it was that He began going out wherever The Father would send Him.
The favor of the dutiful Son now exceeding his father’s expectations.
His actions so efficient that The Father set Him over his household
And his business seeing only the profit of increase

The Father came to comprehend that his General
Had become the favor beside his Son.
And the people came to be with Him also giving their hearts to Him.
Due diligence to success breeds a jealousy for fame. Contemptuous,
The Father, from the day that his women sang His praises forward,
Began to look suspiciously upon Him. Harboring envy most terrible
Read as age gathering haste into the face. Until The Father saw
That his Son’s heart was more-so given to Him.

A deep cloud darkened one day so
That Gods bad spirit facilitated operative
Within the Father so that he behaved
The Black Shaman rampant - the house storming
Towards such strains as
He was playing music with his hand
As in former days,
A gun was in the Fathers hand
And the Father proceeded to fire
“I shall splatter Him to the wall”
Yet He dodged the bullets
Turning aside metal twice

Then the Father became afraid of Him
Because of Gods favor poured out
Proved to be with Him
Whilst God is now entirely departed from the Father
Consequently the Father removed Him
From his household, from his Company
And yet the people’s hearts continued to be with Him

One night tryst close after
Overheard by his Son The Father spoke secretly
To all his men once more
Wishing to have Him put to death, whereupon the Son
Whose great delight is taken in Him
Came quickly to his Brother warning:
“My Father has placed a good price on your head,
Please be on your guard
In my morning bed you must dwell secretly
And keep yourself well hidden
Until my Father departs for the day.
I for my part shall go out and certainly stand at my Father’s side
To him I shall appeal:
“Father, do not be given to sin
Against an innocent man yet to sin ‘gainst you.
Why should you sin against the innocent blood
Of one once trusted so near?
My own brother?”

It was the face of God
Understood in his own Son’s countenance -
That he may not sin against God
The Father did consent to comply,
Turing aside from his plans
To put Him as was his own Son,
Loved as his own soul -
To a young death

And The Son ran to his Brother
Taking Him up in his arms
Philae Brothers as one rejoicing
Glad in His heart for His Brother
His soul cried:
“Your Father must surely know that
I have found favor in your eyes.”

Once Again Open For Trade

From off Planet,
Come on - no terrestrial foot fall
Back? That I am
How I do not know
